Oral Surgery
Oral Surgery
Dental surgery is any of a number of medical procedures that involve artificially modifying the dentition; in other words, surgery of the teeth and jaw bones.
Extraction
A procedure in which a diseased, redundant, or problematic tooth is removed, either by pulling or cutting out. This procedure can be done under local anaesthesia and is very common. Intra-venous sedation can also be offered to help with anxiety levels.
Wisdom tooth extraction
We carry out all types of difficult extractions; surgical extractions involving bone removal and even wisdom teeth!
Apicectomy
A root-end resection usually after a root canal fails. The end of the tooth, called the apex, will be removed by entering through the gingiva and surgically extracting the diseased material. A retrograde filling is sometimes placed and the surgical site sutured to hold everything in place.
