Stuart Hopkins
Principal Dental Surgeon (GDC 80929)

Stuart qualified at the University of Sheffield in 2002. After qualification he worked for two years in a small village practice in South Yorkshire.
Stuart moved back to Crewe and began working at Dane Bank House in 2004. He has been working here ever since. Stuart has a great interest in cosmetic dentistry and is very up to date with his application of dental materials. He is also a full member of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD). This has allowed him to further his range of preventive and modern treatment options and allowed him to develop his minimally invasive approach to dentistry.
Stuart also provides IV sedation for nervous patients, and uses acupuncture to treat a variety of conditions. In 2012 Stuart passed the M.J.D.F. Examination at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, which is one of the highest qualifications that a general dental practitioner can achieve. In 2014 Stuart took over the reigns from his father at Dane Bank House and is now the principal.
Stuart is still very much the clinician but spends some of his time running the business with the hep from his managers, administrator and the rest of the staff.
In his spare time Stuart attends the gym, goes out socialising with friends and is a keen club DJ which sees him mixing different genres of trance and house in the local area.

Helen Berrington

Helen started working at Dane Bank House after graduating from the University of Sheffield Dental School in 1999. She has since built up a large patient base here.
Helen has expanded her skills over these years and treats NHS, private and Denplan patients.
She has interests in many areas of dentistry and has completed training with the Inman Aligner and Clear Aligner systems; both of which can be used to straighten patients teeth quickly and without the need for extractions.
In her spare time Helen enjoys going to the gym, being outdoors with her beloved dogs and horses, reading and painting.

Sally graduated from Liverpool as a dual qualified dental hygienist/ therapist in 2006.
Quality, honest patient care is very important to her and being sure that patients receive the absolute best care is one of her top priorities. She especially enjoys working in periodontics and helping our patients achieve their healthiest smile!
Sally has two teenage boys and when not looking in mouths, she is mostly found at the side of a football or cricket pitch.
A season ticket holder at Liverpool. She has a bulldog named Gerrard after the one and only Stevie!

Vicky graduated from Leeds university in 2006 and has since worked in a variety of private and nhs practices since. Vicky is experienced in both dental hygiene and restorative treatments such as fillings.
She enjoys all aspects of her role as a dental therapist especially helping nervous patients and children to feel comfortable having dental treatment.
Vicky is also trained in facial aesthetic procedures including Botox and lip fillers.
In her spare time vicky enjoys spending time with her young daughter and going for walks.

Karen Bailey
Practice Manager/Dental Nurse (GDC 111205)

Since joining the Practice in 1990, she has obtained her professional qualifications, and furthered her education with an additional post-graduate qualification in assisting in Conscious Sedation cases. She has been involved in seeing the practice expand over the years and is an integral part of the team.
She enjoys many roles within the daily running of the Practice, but still enjoys assisting with the more advanced treatments such as Implant placements and Oral Surgery.

Emma Bradbury

Emma joined Dane Bank House in 1996, and shortly afterwards gained her Certificate in Dental Nursing. She obtained the Certificate in Dental Radiography a few years later. This provides Emma with the necessary qualifications to take dental x-rays, which assists the dentist in the diagnosis of dental problems.
She has a combined role as Dental Practice Manager and Dental Nurse.
When in surgery Emma is usually found assisting Dr Berrington. As part of her job role she is also the BDA good practice co-ordinator and responsible for ensuring our Health and Safety regulations are adhered to. She also enjoys working as part of the dental implant team.
Emma has a young son and in her spare time she enjoys reading, paddleboarding and walking with her partner and dog.

Anna Lawrence

Anna has been with the Practice since December 2005, and qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse at the Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2007.
She later went on to study for a post-graduate certificate in Conscious Sedation, qualifying in 2010, from the Birmingham Dental School.
Anna also works along side Stuart Hopkins and enjoys being part of the dental implant team.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and attending concerts.

Debbie Heath

Debbie joined the Practice in 1998, and works 3 days a week. She qualified in 2002 by sitting the National Examination for Registered Dental Nurses at Manchester.
After further study for a post-graduate qualification in 2006, she was awarded the Certificate in Dental Health Education. This enables her to give advice to our younger patients on the importance of keeping our mouths and teeth clean and healthy.
Also in 2006, she attended Alsager College and passed her British Sign Language Stage 1 qualification.
She likes to spend time camping with her family and growing her own fruit and vegetables.

Rebecca Harrison

Becky joined Dane Bank House in 2006. She qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 2008, and went on to complete a further qualification in Conscious Sedation from Birmingham Dental Hospital in March 2010.
She is the Decontamination Lead and i responsible for maintaining the highest standards in sterilising all the instruments and in maintaining our Cross Infection Control measures.
Becky enjoys spending time with her family and getting out into the fresh air of the Welsh mountains.

Gemma Davies

Before joining Dane Bank House in 2007, Gemma worked as a Nursery assistant. This experience enables her to care in the treatment of our younger patients.
Gemma gained her National Qualification in 2009 and has achieved a post-certification qualification in radiography at Liverpool.
Gemma works alongside our Dentists, Therapists and as part of the reception team. Gemma is responsible for administrating First Aid at the Practice when needed.
Outside of work she enjoys dining out and going to the theatre.

Jade Chandler

Jade joined the practice in 2011 and studied for her NEBDN in dental nursing for 2 years until she qualified in 2013.
She usually works alongside Dr. Hopkins and the hygienist as well as working with the reception team.
Since qualifying Jade has achieved a post-certification qualification in radiography at Liverpool.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising with her friends and family.

Sophie joined the practice as a qualified Dental Nurse in February 2013.
She is the reception lead and the complaints manager
Sophie enjoys spending time with her young family and going to concerts when she gets the chance!plaints manager.

Sharon Varley
Receptionist
Sharon joined the practice in October 2021 as a receptionist. Previously, Sharon had worked in the retail industry so she brings a whole host of customer service skills with her.
Sharon is one of the practice first aiders.
She has two daughters and dog called Ted.

Lisa joined the practice in April 2014.
She is responsible for the accounts, general administration, advertising and human resources.
In her spare time Lisa likes to keep fit and socialise with friends and family.
