Dip Dental Therapy, Dip Dental Hygiene

Cheryl previously worked for several years as a dental nurse, and decided to increase her role in dentistry and trained as a Dental Therapist.

She successfully completed the combined Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene course at Liverpool University in December 2006, and joined our Preventive Care team at Dane Bank House in January 2007.

Cheryl enjoys all aspects of her role but her particular interest is in helping patients to achieve good oral hygiene at home, by working with her patients to create bespoke homecare dental plans.

As well as carrying out the duties of a Hygienist, Cheryl also carries out radiography, tooth whitening, simple fillings, extractions of deciduous teeth, impressions and other tasks to assist the dentist.

Cheryl lives locally and enjoys travel, sport and has a holiday home in North Wales where she enjoys spending time with her family.
