If you are exempt from NHS dental charges you will still recieve free treatment and care
- If you normally pay for NHS dental treatment, there will be three standard charges.

You will pay one charge, even if you need to visit more than occasion to complete a course of treatment.
- The amount you pay will depend on the treatment you need to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
NHS care - We will provide any treatment that you need to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy and free of pain.
Decisions about which treatment is appropriate for you will be based upon a clinical assessment and clinical judgement. We will offer you a treatment option that is clinically appropriate.
You will pay one of the three following charges:
Band 1
This covers an examination, diagnosis (including x-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventive care such as the application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant if appropriate.
This also covers emergency care in a primary care NHS dental practice such as pain relief or a temporary filling.

This covers everything listed in Band 1, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment or removal of teeth but not more complex items covered by Band 3
£73.50Band 3
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures, bridges and other laboratory work.
